Custom Brushes
Custom brushes I created some time ago. Here I have them in in large and small sizes, the large showing the detail used to create the effect, and the small showing what it's like when used in a line!

Finished Portrait!
Finally finished! While the face came out very well from what I can see, the rest didn't have much work put into it, and the main reason being there wasn't much detail to add. I think the only thing I could improve upon this is to make the color transition for the neck and shirt less smooth, and the hood of my sweatshirt a bit brighter. There may be an update for that later just so it stops bugging me.

Yet another portrait update
My final progress of today! I feel very satisfied with what I have here so far, so I'll keep working with this!
Self Portrait update
I've made some progress on my self portrait! So far, I've gotten my nose done, added some shading value to my face, and started some outlines for my mouth and eyes so I know where to begin when I get to it. Tackling the detail and shading for my hair should be quite interesting!

Portrait in progress!
For whatever reason, my portrait on the blog seems to have brightened, but this is my current progress as of now.

First Digital Drawing Project Complete!
My first Digital Drawing class project!
Here, I've created 6 shells, 5 of which I used contour lines to give them character without going into intense detail with textures.
The focal point here is obviously the large white shell that has the swirling blue colors within it, making it my expressive drawing amongst the creation.

Billy Mays Fish?! - First Photoshop Project
My first experimental Photoshop project! What you see here is Billy Mays advertising OxiClean products as a giant, flying fish that has landing gears and pilot glasses!
While creating this, I was learning about Photoshop and some of its tools. While I was mainly restricted to only a few tools due to me being new to this program, I had used the brush, magic wand, eraser, and lasso tools to set this up.

Final Poster Design!
At long last, I have finished my poster! This theme here is Knowledge, which I expressed using an old english font K, and many quotes of wisdom.
Top left red text: "It's said, war - war never changes. Men do, through the roads they walk." - Ulysses (This person is a virtual character from the video game known as Fallout: New Vegas)
Top left yellow text: "Knowledge is a funny thing Auron. The more of it that's in your head, the more your head can hold." - E.E. Knight
Middle green text: "Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works." - Steve Jobs
Middle yellow text: "When it's obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps." - Confucious
Right orange text: "Life is really simple, but we insist on making it difficult." - Confucious
Right red-orange text: "Common sense is not so common." - Voltaire
Bottom yellow text: "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Bottom green text: "I am prepared for the worst, but hope for the best." - Benjamin Disraeli
The image used for the background is the Eagle Nebulae.

Early Poster Design
An early idea I had for one of the final projects for my Electronic Design class.
I'm trying to incorporate all of these quotes into or around the capitalized K, which will draw the viewer around the poster.

Camouflage
My last typography design, using the word Camouflage.
Are you able to find all 7 of the camouflage words?
This is not my camouflage design, I found this image here:

Four designs using only five black squares
1: A square falling in a 'flipnote' style.
2: Squares falling into a stacked pyramid.
3: A formation of large squares moving in unison.
2: Squares falling into a stacked pyramid.
3: A formation of large squares moving in unison.
4: 4 squares pinning the 5th square into submission.
In this, I had to create 4 designs using only 5 black squares that would make the onlooker think about what it may be representing, if anything at all.
Color
Using the theme Color, I've completed my second to last typography design!
Here, I tried using colors on opposite sides of their 'rainbow' to make it have good contrast.
I thought putting black and white in this design would lighten the amount of vivid colors and make some things stand out more than others.
Stable
One of my last typography designs, featuring the word Stable.
My goal here was to give it a very solid, secure look.
I think I nailed the theme this time around, but want to do something with a lot of effort for the last design.

Another Typography Design
Another typography design. The theme this time is Black and White, which I don't think came out as great as the rest.
Not really much to say here, but this is one of the final designs.

Typography Designs
First off, I apologize for the awful quality of these; It apparently cannot get better than this for the internet.
Anyhow, I've recently started working on some typography designs, and these are the three I've come up with so far.
After finishing loud, I started a design that would use only the word quiet, which ended up much simpler and, well... quiet!
The last one I've completed so far. The word active was the highlight here, and I tried using colors here rather than just boring grays and blacks.
I don't think I quite got the hang of this one, but I could use some interesting ideas so I could possibly implement them into this design.

My paper bag design!
I have just finished folding the layout for the paper bag I've created, and this is how it came out!
What I have in the design is the Himalayan mountain range from a very high perspective. Within it, you can spot a silhouette of a plane in the darkened area, and at the front there is the logo, which depicts Mount Everest in black and white. The sky has been edited to fit the theme of this design, which is supposed to be aesthetic.
To get the attention of the onlooker, I've placed the mountain logo not in the middle of the bag, but a little to the side. I thought this necessary because I felt as if the viewer should get drawn to more parts of the bag, rather than just seeing the centerpiece right away.
Within the design, there is a surprise that is not very difficult to spot if one is to keep searching all around the bag. In the darkened area of the bag, there is a silhouette of a plane.
The best part of my design is the mountain range; the artistic redesign of the photographed mountains gives it an aesthetic look.
